Welcome to my first blog post. I put up a fight when I felt like the Lord was speaking to me and telling me to start a blog. First of all, blogging is not really “my thing”. I AM A FACE TO FACE TALKER….I want to see expressions, laugh together, cry together, get feedback (in person) so this blog thing is….well… its weird for me. However, when we wrestle with a spirit thats power is far greater than us, we generally lose that battle. (Galatians 5:16) So here I am, blogging. My story is quite simple, I have lived many years searching for “perfection” only to realize all I have really accomplished is perfecting imperfections. I would like to be an encouragement to others who may have faced some of the same struggles in life that I have. I have dealt with insecurities, divorce, co-parenting, remarriage, blended family, loss, and an ongoing struggle of balancing priorities according to biblical principle. I have basically had to learn things the hard way…but that is what I have done, with the help of God, I have learned and my hope is that through some of my experiences I can help others understand that they are not alone in the struggles of life. No one is perfect…we are all just Imperfections Perfected!!!
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Laurie you’ve grown up to be a lovely young lady, a daughter I know your parents are proud of! I’m sure you please the Good Lord by giving Him public respect. You never know who you might help, or who God will speak to through your blog ~~ You are precious in His sight…..
